The Lagos state university counselling and career unit was established in the year 2007. It was an idea borne out of passion to assist staff/student to maximize their potential and to handle challenges being faced in their academic pursuit and job satisfaction. Ever since then there has been opporturnity to actually know better on how student and staff are coping with their everyday activities. The unit is made up of knowledgeable and experienced counsellors who listen and attend to students and staff. There are numbers of client that have benefitted from this initiave. There are several activities/services that the unit carries out such as counselling on academics, careers, socio-personal and also organizing seminars across the departments and faculties of the university.
